RG Evangelion Unit-00 DX Positron Cannon Set

The RG Evangelion Unit-00 DX reproduces Rei Ayanami's unit with an internal structure designed to imitate human movement, from torso flexion to the shifting of shoulders and armor plates. Once assembled, it stands around 19 cm tall and can be configured with parts from the initial or repaired version. It includes a pallet rifle, two progressive knives, an umbilical cable, numerous hands, and, as a great DX extra, the positron cannon and G-type equipment to recreate Operation Yashima alongside EVA-01. Unit-00 appears for the first time in episode 5 of Neon Genesis Evangelion, “Rei I,” while this configuration is inspired by Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. Interestingly, the weapon is not intended for EVA-00 to use: the set includes it for EVA-01, while Rei covers the shot with the shield. This relationship explains the contents of the box and allows for a scene much larger than an individual figure. Its combination of organic articulation and technical parts is particularly striking in low, tense poses.
