One Piece Thousand Sunny

The Thousand Sunny is the second great home of the Straw Hats, and this Grand Ship Collection version recreates its cheerful lion figurehead in a format of about 15 cm. The hull, sails, deck, and stern details maintain the blend of pirate ship and extravagant machine designed by Franky, with a display base to present it sailing. The main colors come separated, and stickers complete emblems and small details without complicating the finish. The Sunny appears for the first time in episode 321 of One Piece, “The King of Animals That Overlooks the Sea! The Dream Ship Magnificently Completed!”, when the ship built with Adam wood is introduced. As a curiosity, its name was Iceburg's idea rather than Franky's: he wanted a ship capable of crossing any sea with the cheerfulness of the sun. Alongside the Going Merry, one can clearly appreciate the leap in scale and ambition of the crew, although both models maintain a comfortable size for forming a small fleet in a display case.
