PG Unleashed RX-78-2 Gundam

The PG Unleashed RX-78-2 Gundam is the most ambitious 1/60 scale interpretation of the original design, created to celebrate four decades of Gunpla evolution. Standing about 30 cm tall when assembled, it is built in phases—frame, mechanisms, armor, and finishing—so that each stage can be enjoyed as a complete piece. It features numerous points of articulation, opening hatches, metal parts, translucent areas, LED lighting, and multi-toned details; it also includes a rifle, bazooka, shield, beam sabers, and Amuro figures. The RX-78-2 appears in the first episode of Mobile Suit Gundam, "Gundam Rising." As an interesting fact, Bandai named this edition "Unleashed" because it combines various technologies developed throughout the brand's history into a single kit, from the full inner frame to light emission and visual effects. It doesn't need an extreme pose to impress: partially opened, it already displays its mechanical density, and when closed, it retains the clean proportions of the 1979 Gundam with an enormous presence in any display case.
