MG Wing Gundam

The TV-version Wing Gundam arrives in MG form with its vibrant colors, mechanical wings, and Bird Mode transformation. Once assembled, it stands about 16.3 cm tall and includes a Buster Rifle, shield, and two beam sabers; the double-jointed neck and internal structure help achieve dynamic poses without losing its stylized silhouette. It debuts in episode 1 of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, "The Shooting Star She Saw," piloted by Heero Yuy during Operation Meteor. As a fun fact, for a large part of the Western audience, this was the first Gundam they saw on television, although within the series its arrival does not exactly go according to plan: it ends up shot down and sunk in the ocean. The transformation brings together the rifle, shield, and wings into a compact flight form, so the kit offers two very distinct presentations without changing main parts. It is a manageable MG, with a good balance of engineering, nostalgia, and display shelf space.
