RG Evangelion Unit-02 Production Model

The RG Evangelion Unit-02 Production Model turns Asuka's red unit into an articulated kit, featuring stylized proportions and an internal structure designed to mimic human movement. Once assembled, it stands approximately 19 cm tall and includes a Pallet Rifle, a foldable Thunder Spear, two Progressive Knives, an umbilical cable, fifteen interchangeable hands, and realistic decals. The torso plates shift with the articulation, allowing the model to crouch, run, or aim without the armor clashing excessively. This version takes the Rebuild of Evangelion films as a reference, specifically the appearance of EVA-02 in Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. As a fun fact, Bandai designed the RG without an official scale: the goal was to translate the EVA’s muscle contraction and organic flexibility into plastic, rather than to make it fit with 1/144 Mobile Suits. The head uses multiple colored parts and transparent eyes, ensuring the expression is defined without relying on paint. It is a more technical build than an HG, but rewarding if you are looking for aggressive poses and a figure with stature for your Evangelion collection.
