PG Strike Freedom Gundam

The PG Strike Freedom Gundam turns Kira Yamato’s machine into a massive centerpiece, featuring a gold frame and a wing system that dominates any display. Once assembled, it stands approximately 30 cm tall. It includes two combinable Beam Rifles, Railguns, Beam Sabers, a Beam Shield, eight Super DRAGOON units, a dedicated base, and an LED for the head; the wings can open to recreate HiMAT mode. The Strike Freedom debuts in episode 39, “Kira of the Sky,” of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, when Kira returns to combat to rescue Lacus. As a fun fact, Hajime Katoki supervised the PG version and reinforced the mechanical aesthetic of the wings, which use springs and joints to deploy the DRAGOONs in a synchronized manner. It requires a deep shelf and time to balance the heavy weight of the backpack, though the included base handles much of the work. The contrast between the white armor, dark blue, and gold frame offers great detail without painting; with panel lining and the included decals, it gains even more scale.
