MG ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka

The ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka is large, sturdy, and much more complex than its blocky silhouette suggests. Once assembled, it stands around 22 cm tall and can separate into the Core Top, Core Base, and Core Fighter, or combine into the G-Fortress, retaining its signature Double Beam Rifle, massive sabers, and front-facing Hi-Mega Cannon. Hajime Katoki revised the proportions and mechanisms to make the transformation cleaner, featuring sliding panels and visible detail in the areas that open up. The ZZ Gundam enters the fray in episode 11 of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, “Activate the Double Zeta!”, piloted by Judau Ashta. As a fun fact, its power required the rifle itself to become a structural part of the transformation: it is not just any accessory, but a piece of the system. It is an MG meant to be enjoyed in stages, with many water-slide decals and various display modes; in a display case, it is best to set aside space for it due to both its height and the width of its backpack.
