MG High Mobility Type Psycho Zaku Ver.Ka

The Psycho Zaku Ver.Ka is one of those MGs that takes up the display case before you even open all its support arms. The body is around 18.5 cm, but the giant rear thruster and tanks extend the whole set well beyond a normal Zaku. It includes a Beam Bazooka, three Giant Bazookas, two Zaku machine guns, two Heat Hawks, and three Sturm Fausts, plus a base to support the weight. Its story originates in the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt manga and later moves to the anime adaptation, where Daryl Lorenz pilots it using the Reuse P Device. As a curiosity, this system connects the controls directly to the pilot's prosthetics: it explains its reaction speed, but also the brutal physical price it demands. Hajime Katoki took the markings, hoses, and mechanical layers to the extreme, so there is always something new to look at. It is a long and advanced build; reserving space, organizing the arsenal, and planning the pose before finishing the assembly avoids fighting with all that rear volume later on.
