HGUC Kshatriya

The HGUC Kshatriya is a giant within the 1/144 scale: the assembled body is around 15.5 cm, but its four articulated binders multiply its width and presence. It includes twenty-four funnels, four Beam Sabers, and sub-arms hidden in the binders, as well as clear stands to display some of the weaponry in flight. The design blends the heritage of the Qubeley with heavy green armor and gold Sleeves detailing. The Kshatriya debuts in episode 1 of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA, "Day of the Unicorn," facing off against several Jegans in a spectacular opening. As a curious fact, its name comes from the warrior and ruling caste in Hindu tradition, a very appropriate choice for Marida Cruz's machine. Although it belongs to the HG line, the number of parts and the volume of the binders make it closer to a larger assembly experience, so it is advisable to reserve space for it. The color separation is good, and the gold can be improved with paint if you are looking for more depth. A centerpiece for any modern Universal Century collection.
