HG MS-06C Zaku II Type C / Type C-5

The HG Zaku II Type C / Type C-5 combines two early configurations of Zeon's main Mobile Suit in a single box. Once assembled, it stands approximately 12.2 cm tall. It includes a belt-fed machine gun, an A2 bazooka, an ASR-78 anti-ship rifle, two Heat Hawks, and chest parts to choose between the Type C and Type C-5. These variants belong to Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin and represent units that predate the Zaku II F, which would dominate the One Year War. As a point of interest, the difference between the C and C-5 lies in armor and equipment details—something minor on the model but significant for understanding how Zeon adjusted the same chassis based on the mission. The variety of weapons offers great playability without complicating the build. The matte green finish and flat surfaces work well with panel lining and unit decals. It is an option with its own identity within the collection: it works as a standalone piece and also gains context when displayed alongside other machines from the same series.
