The Gundam Mk-II first appears in episode 1 of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, \"The Black Gundam,\" initially in the dark colors of the Titans before being taken over by the A.E.U.G. As a bit of trivia, this 2005 MG was famous for being able to adopt a very natural kneeling pose, something quite unusual at the time. The white, blue, and red color scheme visually connects it to the RX-78-2, but the proportions and frame make the technological leap clear.
