The two back-mounted V.S.B.R. units deploy forward, the leg thrusters move in coordination, and the head features an opening face mask to represent cooling during Maximum Mode; an alternative fixed head is also included. The equipment is rounded out with a rifle, beam launcher, two beam sabers, a beam shield, and a display base. Its first animated appearance is directly in the Mobile Suit Gundam F91 film, so it does not have a debut episode. As a fun fact, its reduced size is not a creative choice for the model kit: within the Universal Century, it was designed as part of a new generation of miniaturized mobile suits.
